Christmas Day

The kids slept in nicely on Christmas day.   They were delighted to come out and find the fun things that Santa left for them.  They got just the right amount of gifts and it seems that Santa may have done all his shopping on half price Saturday at Goodwill.  Not totally sure, but it’s a possibility.   The kids were none the wiser though and got lots of fun brand new toys still in their packages.  After playing a few games we opened the few wrapped presents under the tree.  Everyone was so thoughtful in the presents they gave us and we enjoyed every last one of them.  It was a perfect sized Christmas for us.

Belle has been asking for strawberry plants since we left North Carolina since we had a nice patch of them there.  Looks like she is in business once it warms up a bit.IMG_7709IMG_7714

Chloe slept in a bit longer than the rest of us in the big bed.  IMG_7715IMG_7716

Sam got his own Zhuzhu pet from his cousin.IMG_7724

Max was feeling really powerful in his new cape. He call himself the Flash and Isabelle calls herself the Love Hero since her cape has a heart on it.

That afternoon we went to Seth and Mandi’s for Christmas dinner and it was fabulous.  The kids had a really fun time playing to and we had a great time visiting with the adults.
