Back to usual

Here are the rest of our January pictures so far.  We survived a a freeze that lasted about 4 days and sadly damaged many plants and trees including a lot of the citrus.  We covered a lot of plants in our yard but many still are damaged.  Luckily no frozen pipes though.   Now we are back to warm days, I think it was 82 today, although that was a record high.

Chloe really enjoys getting around and now likes to explore the pantry too.

She loves graham crackers when she can get her hands on one.  IMG_1060

I have been organizing a playgroup for the kids and moms at church.  This particular day it was chilly (you can tell people actually had to put sweatshirts on) but we had a good turnout.  IMG_1062

Max has a new love of climbing trees and fences.  IMG_1068IMG_1069

Can’t remember if I already posted the cake making.  Probably.  IMG_7927IMG_7928

Sick puppy, luckily only lasted a day for him and a day for Max and then they were back in business just in time for the weather to warm up.

Whew, it warmed up none too soon.  Its hard keeping my wild animals inside all day!  And hard to send them outside when its cold because of the lack of clothes that Max usually has on.  IMG_1072IMG_1073

Finally found some baby MumMums.  Chloe is enjoying her first one here.  Much cleaner than the graham cracker.

Our old tile vacuum wasn’t working very well anymore and it had a two year warranty so we returned it for a working one.  Max was delighted to purchase yet another vacuum from that aisle at costco.  He was REALLY hoping it would be purple like the box showed and luckily for him it was.   He was also wistfully eyeing the other vacuums in the aisle that we don’t yet have in our collection and said he wished he could buy them all.  Then he said he wished we had a dog so he could buy a certain one that showed it could vacuum up dog hair.  He really thought it was to vacuum off dogs with though.   The replacement vacuum is working 100 times better and our floors stand a chance at being clean again.   IMG_1078

Max is good at improvising.  I guess he didn't have his cape handy so he turned an apron into one.  IMG_1080

Belle and Sam sampling the carmel popcorn we made for our Sunday treat.  Sam kept saying “Thanks for making this mommy”  I love this picture of him kneeling on the stool.  Don’t mind his filthy looking socks, I am pretty sure most of them are stained since he runs outside in them.

With Belle and Sterling having Monday off we headed to the outlets for a much needed mission.  Sterling really needed some new work clothes.  Luckily we found him exactly what he had been searching for and at a great price and now he has a whole new wardrobe for work.   I am pretty sure the salesman at the Hagar store could have done without us.  He was pretty grouchy and the kids weren’t even being that bad!

Max wanted me to know that he was doing something REALLY DANGEROUS in this picture.IMG_1092

Good sport!

They could have played on these all day.  IMG_1098IMG_1101

Chloe fits so nicely in this cubby.IMG_1103IMG_1107

Enjoying her afternoon stroller ride and snack today.  If this doesn’t make you smile I don’t know what will!IMG_1108

Let this picture document that Chloe drank a decent amount out of a bottle for the first time ever!  I put in some watered down apple juice and she drank 2 or 3 ounces and finished it off!  It’s a miracle.  IMG_1112

Making cookies after school.  So nice that Belle can do a lot of it herself now while I work on dinner.  IMG_7987IMG_7989

Max made this himself.  Ever since Josh built them a huge marble run last weekend they are into really tall towers.IMG_7995IMG_7997

Mighty pleased with herself  that she pulled this wipe out of the box.
